The Govt of India started Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business Centres scheme through its Agriculture Ministry department in the year 2002. It is presently implemented by MANAGE, Hyderabad and NABARD. The scheme is for helping unemployed graduates in Farming,Veterinary science, Fisheries, Forestry, Engineeering in Agricultur sector, Horticulture,TNAU-Home Science and Rural Science with Post Graduation in Agriculture and Diploma in Agriculture and associated streams. Also Agriculture related vocational subjects to start Agri-Clinics and Agri-Business establishments for self dependency and provision for standard extension to the farmers.
